Montenegro will tender, for long-term leasing, the military-touristic complex Valdanos Ulcinj

Montenegro will offer a tender for long-term leasing of military-touristic complex Valdanos Ulcinj on Monday 20th June 2011. The deadline for bids will be in 90 days.
Public Invitation to tender, will be invited for an experienced international investors with demonstrated financial capacity and experience in the design, construction and operating large and mixed-use resorts, interested in taking the long-term lease of 90 years of Valdanos Ulcinj, including the construction and operation of the tourist complex.
Conditions for participation in the tender, as compared to the previous tender, which was declared unsuccessful, remained unchanged except that the period of the lease with 30 years extended to 90 years. After completion of the tender and selection of bidders, the Tender Commission for Tourism will submit report on the results of the tender to the Privatization Council.
The Montenegrin Commission has discussed information on the activities undertaken to prepare the tender process for long-term leasing, with the possibility of sale of land in the Municipality of Tivat, in the ownership of the “Montepranzo – Bokaprodukt” AD Tivat, intended to build a golf course, the necessary infrastructure and related content.
The preparation of tender documents, obtaining relevant documents and decisions, after which the Commission will decide on publication of the public invitation is in progress.
The projection of the Commission is that all the necessary activities for the publication of tenders can be rapidly implemented which provides conditions for its publication.
