Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB) is highly interested in supporting Montenegro’s future sustainable and social development, in particular regarding local and rural development, bolstering entrepreneurship and development of small and medium businesses, the CEB Governor Raphael Alomar noted at the meeting with Montenegro's Prime Minister Igor Lukšić on Tuesday. He also said that Montenegro can use CEB grants and subsidies aimed at vulnerable groups and refugees. Montenegro's Prime Minister Lukšić thanked Governor Alomar for CEB’s support in the “1000+” housing project, adding that he looks forward to continued cooperation in similar projects. “The CEB support will be of great importance in our efforts to establish economic balance”, said the PM referring to the significant role CEB is expected to have in the coming period in Montenegro. The two officials also addressed support for the construction of housing units for displaced persons at refugee camps Konik I and II. Source; Government
