Tender for golf courses in Boka bay, Montenegro

Montenegrin Government released an international tender for the long-term issue of former farm land “Montepranco-Bokaprodukt” in Boka Kotorska bay that after 90 years of renting investor can buy, Montenegrin media reports on Wenesday.   Documentation for the preparation of bids for a new model for a 786 000 square meters of property in the zone Mrcevac, near airport of Tivat and only 700 meters from the sea, costing ten thousand Euros. Planning documentation is intended that part of Tivat for the construction of golf courses.   The tender will be open until November  4th and Tivat company Porto Montenegro, founded by owner of the Adriatic Marinas,  Peter Munk, purchased the tender documents for the preparation of bids for the construction of golf courses in the vicinity of the airport Tivat.   Tender Commission for Tourism has left is interested in only a month to prepare their bids.   Canadian investor once said that the golf courses in Tivat, "a key part of long-term plan in which the construction of the complex Porto Montenegro aims to turn Montenegro into Monaco on the Adriatic coast"   Mank announced in 2007. to the  Government that his company wants that project, which would round off his business in Tivat.   Source: Vijesti, Mina business
