More tourists in Montenegro than last year

For the first eight months of this year, Montenegro was visited by 1,102,639 tourists, which is 7.3 percent more than the same period last year. Tourist  made 7,375,387 overnight stays, 9.45 percent more than the same period last year, Montenegro’s media reported.Accordin to the information from the Ministry of sustainable Development and Tourism, number of overnight stays of domestic tourists decreased by 2.4 percent, while foreign higher by 11.1 percent.Revenues of the season in the first eight months amounted to 568 million euros, which is 5.4 percent more than the same period 2010th year.Good attendance at after-season months are reported also in the hotels on the Montenegrin coast.Hotel “Ibero Star Bellevue” recorded nearly 100 percent availability during this period. In this 1400 hotel stay guests, of which 680 guests are representatives of 39 major Italian companies in the field of hydro-thermo-sanitary field.“Ibero Star Bellevue” reported 15 percent higher availability compared to the same period last year.The hotels of Budva Riviera Hotel Group in Budva and Petrovac resides 820 guests, which is the company's solid scores of visits for this time of year.The hotels of Budva’s  riviera since opening in early May to late September, was eight percent better seen in the same period last year.According to the National Tourism Organization, on this day in Montenegro, 11,468 tourists stay, which is 25 percent higher than the same period last year.Of the total number of the hotel is situated 8478 tourists in resorts in six and a private placement 2984 guests.Source: Mina business
