Montenegrin city Kotor still enjoys high tourist season

Montenegro News - Tourism Travel Business

According to the calendar, the summer is not over yet. That’s even more true for Kotor, because the number of tourists is on a very high level. The Tourist Organization of Kotor is very pleased — according to their data, there are over 900 guests at the moment in Kotor, which is about 60% higher than in the same period last year. Hotels and other accommodation facilities are booked during September and October. Sanja Branković, a representative of TO Kotor said that many sunny days lately are positively affecting the guests. “Guests are expanding their stay because they love the weather. Hotels also lowered their prices, so you can find a 2* or 3* hotel for 30 – 60 euros, while 4* and 5* are more expensive where prices range from 90 – 220 euros.”In the first seven months of the year, over 20,000 tourists visited Kotor. That is a 19% increase when compared to the same period last year, DNM reports.
