Price of electricity in Montenegro growing

The cost of electricity in Montenegro will certainly raise , the only question is when, Montenegrin media reported at Tuesday.From the Regulatory Energy Agency of Montenegro said that they didn’t yet received requests from the Electric Power Industry of Montenegro,  EPCG,  to increase the price of electricity, but that they expect it."The meteorological situation is not favored in the EPCG. It didn’t produce as much electricity as Montenegro electric system needed, so a lot of it is importing. They are not satisfied with the price that we approve, so that their incomes are lower than last year. It is certain that they would seek correction" , the unnamed source from the Montenegrin RAE told to the reporters.EPCG recently announced that in the first half of the year with operating losses and the stress that is one of the reasons for the fall in revenues of electricity prices, which lowered the RAE in March this year.Current electricity prices are valid until April 1st  and EPCG has the right to seek an increase only if they allowed regulatory income is less than five percent.Source: Dnevne novine
